2022 Summer Quilt Along Announcement--Choose Your Own Adventure Quilt=
Spend the summer making a choose your own adventure sampler quilt! This beginner-friendly sampler pattern features 9 different block designs—make the quilt as shown [2 options!] or create your own 13 block quilt.
Note: Faith Jones, Lee Heinrich and I are not hosting the Summer Sampler this year. This quilt along will be run similarly to the Summer Sampler.
Enjoy easy-to-follow instructions and helpful hints every step of the way. This year, former Summer Sampler designers will be sharing tips throughout the quilt along, on everything from choosing fabrics, to basting quilts, to paper piecing hacks to make your life easier!

For $34.99 total (a one-time charge), you'll receive:
• 9 fully-tested quilt block patterns, with tips and tricks for success--the quilt will include 13 pieced quilt blocks (some will be duplicated). Follow one of the the 2 suggested layouts or create your own unique layout
• PDF Welcome Guide, with fabric requirements and kit information, an FAQ, coloring pages for planning, and more, upon purchase.
• Complete finishing instructions to make a 60" x 60" sampler quilt [or choose to add the top and bottom borders for a bigger 60'' x 84'' quilt]
• A Beginner's Guide to FPP
Quilt-along runs: June 6-September 12, 2021.
Subscribers will receive a new block pattern via email each Monday during the quilt-along, with finishing instructions sent on August 29. (If you purchase after the quilt-along has begun, you will receive a link to download all previously released blocks immediately upon purchase.)

Block sizes: 12-1/2" x 12-1/2" (12" x 12" finished)
Finished quilt size: Approximately 60" x 60" or 60'' x 84'' [with a wide top and bottom border]
Skill level: Confident Beginner. We assume you have basic quilting knowledge such as general fabric cutting and pressing knowledge, the ability to sew a consistent 1/4" seam, and familiarity with the terminology used in quilt patterns.
Techniques used: Most of the blocks will be foundation paper pieced this year, with some options for traditional piecing techniques. If you have never paper-pieced before, download our "Beginner's Guide to Paper-Piecing," included with purchase. There is no appliqué or curved piecing in this sampler pattern.
